LMKP
has been designed with these major goals in mind:
1.
“LMKP
is an interactive computer-based teaching program, which employs
multimedia system to teach the essentials of Persian language
more effectively.”

LMKP
teaches the alphabet, simple words, sentence constructions and
numbers, essential and useful conversational sentences widely used
by tourists during their visit to Iran and finally reading. English
and Persian are used interchangeably.
It includes
an audio-visual dictionary, which is always available.

A
talking dictionary is always available to provide user with Persian
pronunciation and English and Persian equivalents.
·
LMKP
takes full advantage of multimedia technology; such as audio-visual
clips, pictures and text, to make learning Persian language easier
and more attractive.
2.
LMKP
invites you to step into a land, which has a rich cultural heritage.
A land which has an abundance of historical, archaeological, and
religious sights of outstanding interest. User will be fascinated by
visiting a variety of artistic works and a collection of different
kinds of handicrafts.

The
training section of LMKP consist of sixteen serial units
which takes users to a trip to the most attractive cultural and
historical places and promenades in cities of Tehran , Isfahan ,
Shiraz and Kish Island.
3.
In
addition to the training part, LMKP has two main sections,
cultural and tourism, each has their subsections as below:

Cultural
part includes information regarding different Persian instructional
centers in the world and training books and article in on Persian
language teaching. In this part user will be acquainted with Iranian
wearing and its variety, local dishes in
Iran, customs, music, handicraft, calligraphy and finally Iranian
traditional dances.

In
tourism section, LMKP provide users with an adequate record
of historical monuments and places, promenades and museums in Iran.
·
LMKP
in this regard is primarily designed to meet the needs of:

Second
generation of Iranians who have been born or raised abroad.

All
people of the small village known as the “world” who intend to pay a
visit to Iran.

English
speaking university students of Persian language.

Linguists and researchers in the field of culture and history.
